Had a long, fun-filled day with Conner today in Glasgow. We made an early start to the day and spent hours exploring the city. The buildings, sculptures, and cathedrals are all so extraordinary. I don't think it will ever stop awing me to see such cities full of history. You just can't see anything like it in the states. We got to visit the Glasgow Cathedral and the Necropolis that remains today as one of the most iconic cemeteries in all of Europe. Conner and I walked many miles through and around the city centre where we got to go up what used to be a lighthouse that was built in 1893 looking over the city, visit central station, and see the Glasgow Science Center and even the Rangers Football Club stadium. It was a beautiful, sunny day with lots of walking, good food, memories, and even a pumpkin spice latte (and yes, it tastes better when you're enjoying it from another country)! Ever grateful for these days spent in amazing places with my best friend by my side.
