This past week has flown by with all of my day-to-day activities. To update you all, I have completed several assignments, turned in a paper, and have been studying for an exam I have coming up on Tuesday in animal reproduction.
This past Friday, I went to Conner’s Irish studies course at DIT to get a new perspective on some different subjects. The professor was engaging and very passionate. I got to learn a lot about different parts of the culture that we haven’t discussed in my classes. Then, after I searched out a new coffee shop to try in the city and spent some time there, I met up with Conner and our friend from Australia, Bradley, for lunch at The Boar’s Head. It was a perfect afternoon to catch up. Friday night then, Conner, Paul, Jena, Jena’s friend and I all met at O’shea’s Merchant to get some drinks and listen to some traditional live music. It was a great time and a nice way to start the weekend!
Conner and I finally finished all the Star Wars Episodes on Saturday morning! I am so excited for the new release in December. Also on Saturday, Paul and I did a preliminary 10k together in preparation for our race this Wednesday. Then, at night, Paul, Conner, and I went to the Greyhound Races at Shelbourne Park. It was a clear night and a great time for racing. There were 12 different races and I even bet on 3 of them. Conner and Paul ended up winning on a quarter of the races! They got pretty lucky. It was a blast!
I’ve spent today unwinding and studying more for my exam. Being busy with school and trying to stay busy doing extracurricular activities around Ireland have kept me sidetracked from my blog! Hope this catches you all up a little. Thanks for continuing to check in on me. Less than two months before I’m back in Indiana!
